City to provide an access <br />permit to the existing backyard of 1605 Valota <br />o Conduct Field Exploration consisting of one portable boring to a maximum depth of 30- <br />feet in the existing backyard of 1605 Valota <br />o Perform laboratory tests that may include moisture-density, unconfined compression <br />gradation, etc. on the representative soil samples <br />o Perform engineering analysis and develop design recommendations for the proposed wall <br />o Prepare Draft Geotechnical Letter Report outlining preliminary recommendations for the <br />waIl design including lateral capacities, earth pressures, pile recommendations, etc <br />o Prepare Final Geotechnical Report including design recommendations for the required <br />wall elements. <br />o Assist designer during final PS&E preparation as required. <br /> <br />· Prepare Type Selection Memorandum (35% submittal) including: <br />o Preparation of draft General Plan of recommended replacement! rehabilitation alternative <br />o Preparation of preliminary cost analysis <br />o Preparation of Type Selection recommendation <br />o Attend Type Selection meeting with City staff <br /> <br />Deliverables: <br />· Three (3) hardcopies and one electronic copy (PDF) of the Draft Geotechnical Letter <br />Report <br />· Three (3) hardcopies and one electronic copy (P DF) of the Final Geotechnical Report <br />· Three (3) hardcopies and one electronic copy (P DF) of the Type Selection Memorandum <br /> <br />Task 2: Prepare Plans..
