Task 6.2 Notice of Preparation (NOP) (complete) <br /> Using the Draft NOP prepared during Task 5.2, the ECT shall revise the NOP per comments received <br /> from the ERMT. <br /> Task 6.3 Circulate NOP (complete) <br /> Following completion of the NOP, the City shall circulate the documents to public agencies and <br /> interested parties. The ECT shall assist the ERMT in preparing a legal advertisement, including a project <br /> description and scoping meeting date(s) and location. The ECT shall coordinate with the ERMT to <br /> determine the boundary for the mailing list and which publication(s) shall run the legal advertisement. <br /> The ECT shall update the list of adjacent property owners prepared by the Applicant in consultation with <br /> the City. The ERMT shall review and comment on the legal advertisement and meeting mailer prior to <br /> publication and distribution. <br /> Task 6.4 Scoping Meetings (complete) <br /> The ECT shall prepare and conduct a series of public scoping meetings. The ECT shall log comments <br /> made by agencies and the public throughout the duration of the meetings. Topic oriented public meetings <br /> shall focus on a distinct environmental topic or group of associated topics in relation to the Project. <br /> Following each scoping meeting, the ECT shall compile scoping comments in a database noting the date, <br /> name, organization and text of the comment. Each comment will be identified by topic so that the <br /> database may be searched by topic area. <br /> Task 6.5 Scoping Report #1 <br /> After the scoping meetings --ace period is complete and comments compiled, the ECT shall prepare a <br /> scoping report. The Scoping Report shall list the persons or agencies that submitted comments and will <br /> include the comment database in the report appendix. The Scoping Report shall include a summary of <br /> comments with focus on the issues to be analyzed. <br /> Task 6.67 Identification of Special Studies and Technical Reports <br /> Based on the outlines in Task 4 and the comments received during the scoping process, the ECT will <br /> develop a list of special studies needed to support the preparation of the environmental documents. The <br /> special studies shall detail participants and study locations, what will be done during the studies, what <br /> methods will be used, what type of data will be collected, how study results will be presented, and why <br /> the studies are needed. Some technical studies may commence during this period.
