DIVISION 6. TEMPORARY SIGNS <br /> <br />Section 3.84. General Application. Temporary signs shall be displayed only in <br />accordance with the provisions of this Division. <br /> <br />Section 3.85. General Regulations. Unless stated otherwise in this Article, every <br />temporary sign shall comply with the following requirements: <br /> <br /> a. Sign Area. No temporary sign shall exceed thirty-two (32) square feet in area. <br /> The combined area of temporary signs and building signs displayed on a building <br /> facade shall not exceed the area determined in accordance with that certain <br /> graph entitled, "Table 1: Combined Area of Wall Signs (Nonresidential Districts)" <br /> on file in the office of the Zoning Administrator. <br /> <br /> b. Placement. Unless specified otherwise in this Article, any temporary sign shall <br /> be displayed on a building fa(~ade shall comply with the provisions of Section <br /> 3.79 (b)(1)(i). <br /> <br />Section 3.86. Business Identification Signs. A new business that has been issued <br />a business license and zoning clearance from the City may display temporary business <br />identification signs in accordance with the following requirements: <br /> <br /> a. Number. A business may display one (1) temporary business identification sign <br /> on each building fa(~ade that faces a street, driveway or parking lot and that <br /> provides customer access to the business. <br /> <br /> b. Time Limit. Temporary identification signs shall be removed no later than sixty <br /> (60) days after placement, or upon installation of permanent signs, whichever <br /> occurs first. The Zoning Administrator may grant an extension of up to thirty (30) <br /> additional days provided that the business has submitted a complete sign permit <br /> application for permanent identification signs. <br /> <br /> c. Permits Required. No business may display any temporary identification signs <br /> prior to obtaining a business license, zoning clearance and temporary sign <br /> permit from the City. <br /> <br />Section 3.87. Promotional Sales Signs. A business that sells products or provides <br />services may display promotional sales signs in accordance with the following <br />requirements: <br /> <br /> a. Number. No business shall display more than one (1) promotional sales sign on <br /> each building facade that provides customer access to the business. <br /> <br /> b. Time Limit.
