Parcel Maps at pages 9 and 10 (the "Property") for the purpose of financing, <br /> constructing and operating an elementary school; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed sale of the Property by City to District includes <br /> reciprocal license rights, encroachment rights and licenses by and between City <br /> and District. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES HEREBY <br />FIND AND DECLARE THAT: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The City Council of the City of Redwood City does <br />hereby finds and declare that: <br /> <br /> (1) The transfer of a fee simple interest in the Property is <br /> accomplished in furtherance of the Agreement. <br /> <br /> (2) The construction and operation of an elementary school and <br /> <br /> related activities is for the good of the City in general and the <br /> Redwood Shores neighborhood in particular. <br /> <br /> Section 2. The agreement by and between District and City entitled <br />"Offer to Purchase", a copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk is <br />hereby approved and the City Manager and the City Clerk are hereby authorized <br />to execute and attest, respectively, the agreement (in form acceptable to the City <br />Attorney) for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> Section 3 The agreements by and between the City and the District <br />entitled "Grant of Reciprocal Encroachment Rights between the City of Redwood <br />City and the Belmont - Redwood Shores Elementary School District"; "Grant of <br /> <br />or~-osl 2 <br />f:lsharedlredwoodlcound.
