DES:d~' 08/29/96 (071/9) <br /> DES:dM 09/23/96R <br /> <br />overhead utilities, including existing service drops, and the <br />removal of all wood utility poles, overhead wires and associated <br />structures from all streets, roads, alleys or ways shall occur <br />within said District is hereby fixed as February 1, 1998. <br /> <br /> SECTION 6. Pursuant to Section 11.45(d) of the Code of the <br />City of Redwood City, the date by which all affected property <br />owners must provide for service from underground facilities is <br />fixed as 30 days prior to removal of all overhead utilities, <br />including existing service drops, wood utility poles, overhead <br />wires and associates structures. <br /> <br /> SECTION 7. Pursuant to Section 11.45(e) of the Code of the <br />City of Redwood City, the following facilities may be maintained <br />above-ground: transformers, pedestal-mounted service terminals, <br />above-grade splice boxes, andall existing overhead services from <br />Harrison Street to McKinley School and from Brewster Street to <br />Sequoia High School. <br /> <br /> SECTION 8. Pursuant to Section 11.48 of the Code of the <br />City of Redwood City, the utility company which undertakes <br />underground installation of its facilities shall use the <br />underground conversion allocation computed pursuant to decision <br />of the Public Utilities Commission ("PUC") of the State of <br />California for the purpose of providing to each single-family <br />dwelling, McKinley School and Sequoia High School in the <br />Underground Utility District individual electric service <br />trenching and conductor to the extent required (including <br />backfill, paving, and conduit), but not exceeding 100 feet.
