Hire stage managers and a minimum of six security guards. Additional security <br />guards shall be determined by the Police Department. <br />C. Reserve barricades, electrical generators, garbage containers, dumpsters, <br />disabled toilets and hand-washing stations. <br />D. Hire crew to clean-up during and following the event. <br />E. Provide the Redwood City Police Department contact information for the private <br />security guards working the event. <br /> <br />IV. Design and provide t-shirts for staff, volunteers and salsa tasting contestants. <br /> <br />V. Pre-Event: Musicians and Other Performers from 12 pm to 8 pm <br />A. Hire and manage musicians and entertainers. <br />1. Stage 1 is a covered stage located near the intersection of Broadway and <br />Winslow. This will feature Salsa dfs and dancing instruction. <br />2. Stage 2 is a covered stage located on Courthouse Square that will feature <br />Salsa music, dancers and instruction. <br />3. Stage 3 is a covered stage that will feature Latin and youth performing <br />artists. The location will be at the corner of Jefferson and Broadway. <br />4. An area located at the intersection of Broadway and Hamilton which will <br />feature family-oriented entertainment, including street artists and other family <br />performances. <br />B. Coordinate the interactive area for the youth and families with the Parks and <br />Recreation Department, including the hands-on art activities, bounce house and <br />face painting. <br />C. Coordinate art activities with the Art on the Square organizers. <br /> <br />VI. Salsa Tasting Coordination with Downtown Business Group (DBG) <br />A. The Agency would allow the DBG to manage all parts of the Salsa Tasting, <br />provided that the Consultant prepares a memorandum of understanding (MOU) <br />between the Consultant, Agency, and DBG. Allowing the DBG to retain the <br />profits of the salsa tasting kits provides the DBG funding to assist the merchants <br />in the downtown with promotions, advertisements, and small business <br />assistance. The MOU shall require the DBG to submit a detailed event <br />management plan to Consultant for Consultant's review and approval. <br />Consultant shall be responsible for ensuring that the DBG timely accomplishes <br />all event preparations for the Salsa Tasting Event. <br /> <br />VII. Food & Beverage <br />A. Contact local businesses, restaurants, and non-profit organizations and solicit <br />through an application procedure participation in this event. <br />B. Submit the finalized list of participating booth vendors and organizations by email <br />to the Agency by September 1 , 2010. <br />C.
