<br />... <br /> <br /># <br />... <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />II (l) Premiums attributable to coverage for such <br /> <br />employees shall be paid in full by the City; <br /> <br />" (2) Premiums attributable to coverage for dependents <br /> <br />of such employees shall be paid by the city in an amount <br /> <br />not to exceed $lS per month for each such employee <br /> <br />irrespective of the number of dependents of such employee. <br /> <br />Payments provided for hereunder shall be made only to the <br /> <br />contracting insuring entity and no such payments shall be <br /> <br />made to employees of the city. Payments of premiums <br /> <br />attributable to dependents of employees and payable by the <br />City hereunder shall be made only for such premiums:falling <br /> <br />due after January l, 1970." <br /> <br />3. section 2 of Rule XII of the Personnel Rules and Regulations <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"section 2. Overtime: It is the policy of the City <br /> <br />that overtime work shall be discouraged. If, in the <br /> <br />judgment of a department head, work beyond the established <br /> <br />work week is required for which compensation in any form <br /> <br />is to be made, he shall report the circumstances to the <br /> <br />city Manager and he shall not obligate the city to compensate <br /> <br />for such overtime in any form or manner except upon specific <br /> <br />authorization of the city Manager; provided, however, that <br /> <br />in the case of emergency to prevent loss of life or damage <br /> <br />to property, or inconvenience to the public, a department <br /> <br />head may authorize such overtime pending the submission <br /> <br />in writing to the City Manager of the specific reasons <br /> <br />therefor. <br /> <br />"Authorized overtime may be compensated for with time <br /> <br />and one-half off at the request of the employee and with <br /> <br />the agreement of his department head, or in cash at one and <br /> <br />-3- <br />
