<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />1. This permit is temporary in nature, does not constitute <br /> <br /> <br />a deed or grant of easement, or transfer or as~ignment of a <br /> <br /> <br />property interest, and may be revoked without cause at any time <br /> <br /> <br />at the will of the Council of the City of Redwood City, effective <br /> <br /> <br />immediately upon giving written notice of such revocation by <br /> <br /> <br />mail or in person to Permittee; such notice shall be deemed <br /> <br /> <br />effective if sent to, or deposited at, Permittee's address at <br /> <br /> <br />405 Montgomery street, San Francisco, California, or if sent to, <br /> <br /> <br />or deposited at, Permittee's property hereinabove d'escribed. <br /> <br /> <br />2. Permittee may install, construct, and maintain vehicular <br /> <br /> <br />driveway and/or parking lot, surfaces (hereinafter called "said <br /> <br /> <br />Improvements") over and upon the above described Parcels A and B <br /> <br /> <br />in conformance with all applicable laws, statutes, ordinance~, <br /> <br /> <br />rules and regulations, and said construction shall be expressly <br /> <br /> <br />subject to the approval of the City's Director of Public Works. <br /> <br /> <br />3. The construction, installation and maintenance of said <br /> <br /> <br />improvements shall be at the sole cost and expense of Permittee, <br /> <br /> <br />and Permittee shall maintain said" improvements in a state of <br /> <br /> <br />good repair and in a neat and attractive condition at all times. <br /> <br /> <br />4. Permittee shall install sa'id improvements and maintain <br /> <br /> <br />said improvements in such manner as not to damage, interfere <br /> <br /> <br />with, or obstruct the city's operatioPi maintenance, construction, <br /> <br /> <br />or use of City-o\vned storm drainage facilities situate in the <br /> <br /> <br />above described Parcels A and B. <br /> <br /> <br />5. Permittee ackn~wledges and agrees that if the City of <br /> <br /> <br />Redwood City, its agents, employees, contractors, or subcontractors, <br /> <br /> <br />should remove, damage, destroy, or otherwise alter the condition <br /> <br /> <br />of said improvements to be installed and maintained by Permittee, <br /> <br /> <br />or any portion thereof, in connection with the ownership and use <br /> <br /> <br />by City of the above described Parcels A and B, Permittee shall <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br />1.'7' -.~ <br />
