. . NOW, THEREFORE: 1. Said Council of the City of Redwood City does hereby declare, and does hereby give' notice that, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939, pr~ceedings, have been initiated by petition signed by the owners of not less than one-fourfuof the land in the territory by area and by assessed value as shown on the last equalized assessment roll of the County of San Mateo, to annex to said City all tha,t territory hereinafter designated and described. 1~ July 21, 1969, at the .hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m., in the Board of Supervisors' Chambers, Hall of Justice and Records, Redwood City, San Mateo County, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where any person owning real property within the uninhabited territory hereinafter described and proposed to be annexed to the City of Redwood City, may appear before said Council and show cause why such territory should not be annexed to said City. The protest must be in writing and shall state the name of the owner of the property affected and the street address or other d~scri~tion of the property sufficient to identify it in the last, equalized assessment roll. 3. The City Clerk of the City of Redwood City is hereby directed to cause a copy of this resolution to be published in the Redwood City Tribune, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Redwood City, and in the San Mateo Times, a newspaper of general circulation published outside the City of Redwood City but within the County of San Mateo, California, in the manner and time and as required by law, and to cause written notice of the proposed annexation to be mailed to all persons or bodies to whom such notice is required to be mailed by law, in the manner and within the time required by law. -2-
