Warren Fox and Associates <br />1402 El Camino Real <br />Redwood City, California <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Fox: <br /> <br />AGREEMENT FOR APPR~ISAL AND NEGOTIATION <br />SERVICES, PROPOSED CANYON ROAD PARK, PHASE 2 <br /> <br />You are authorized to proceed with 'the appraisals of, and <br />,negotiation for, acquisition of certain parcels of real property, <br />said parcels being'designated in the attached plat map. This <br />land is to be used by Redwood City for park purposes. The <br />services provided for herein shall be performed in accordance <br />with the follo\ving terms and conditions: <br /> <br />1. You are to appraise said property and submit to the <br />City of Redwood City'your appraisal in writing, setting forth <br />the reasonable market value of the property interest or interests <br />to be acquired by the City, together with severance and other <br />compensable damage, if any. The appraisal shall also state <br />the reasons which form the basis of each' such appraisal and <br />such other matter as the City's Director of Public Works, or <br />the City Attorney, shall reasonably require. Detailed plans' <br />and descriptions upon which the appraisals are to be based will <br />be furnished by the City. You are to execute such affidavits <br />of value as may be necessary for the City to acquire said real <br />property in any court or related proceeding. <br /> <br />2. The City will furnish you with such title reports, <br />plats and descriptions as are necessary and convenient for your <br />work. <br /> <br />3. All appraisal work shall be completed, and a preliminary <br />appraisal submitted, within 30 days of delivery to you by the <br />City of the aforementioned documents necessary for the appraisal <br />of the parcels involved. <br /> <br />4. On direction of the City, through the office of the <br />City 'Attorney, you are '-to negotiate with the property owners <br /> <br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />1____ <br />
