<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />use of commu~ications facilities installed upon said "Nickeyell, <br /> <br />or as otherwise directed by City. <br /> <br />It is mutually understood and agreed that permission by <br /> <br />City is granted to use the IlHickey ell in search and rescue <br /> <br />operations of the U. So Coast Guard within that portion of <br /> <br />the South San Francisco Bay bounded northerly by the San <br /> <br />Nateo-Hayward bridge, and southerly by the Dumbarton bridge. <br /> <br />It is further understood and agreed that during such times <br /> <br />that the 1i}:\'lickey e" is part.icipating in U. s. eoast Guard <br /> <br />search and rescue operations, the reservation of operational <br /> <br />control by City shall not prevent qualification of the <br /> <br />"Mickey C" as a government vessel, or its radio equipment <br /> <br />as a government radio station, as defined by the applicable <br /> <br />federal statutes. <br /> <br />It is further understood and agreed that in instances <br /> <br />of irmninent peril to human life or instances of air or \'later <br /> <br />disaster that operation within the areas contiguous to the <br /> <br />hereinabove described portion of the South San Francisco <br /> <br />Bay is contemplated by the pmties hereto, and that the <br /> <br />"Mickey e" may so operate in such areas during such times <br /> <br />as may be required for search and rescue operations because <br /> <br />of such events, when no other vessel is available to the Coast <br /> <br />Guard for operations in such contiguous areas. <br /> <br />In the event of conflict between concurrent assignments to <br /> <br />the IIMickey ell as issued by the U.. s.
