6.1 C <br /> Page 5 !� <br /> Section 2.6 Compensatioa <br /> � <br /> The Committee members shall serve without compensation. <br /> Sect'ron 2.7 Regular Meetings <br /> � The Committee shall provide by resolution the time and place for the holding of regular <br /> meetings. <br /> Section 2.8 Special Meetings <br /> Special Meetings are any meetings other than those designated in Section 2.7 of these by-laws. <br /> Such Special Meetings shall be held whenever called by the Chairperson or any two(2}voting , <br /> members of the Committee. <br /> Section 2.9 Notice of Meetings <br /> Notice of all Regular and Special Meetings shall be posted in City Hall and the Main Library <br /> no less than 72 hours prior to the meeting. Notice to and material for the Comraittee shall be <br /> made available no less than 24 hours before any Special Meeting. <br /> Section 2.10 Quorum <br /> A majority af the voting members of the Committee shall constitute a quorum. In the absence <br /> of a quorum at any meeting, a majority of the members may adjoum the meeting provided in <br /> � Section 2. 11.A meeting at which a quorum is initially present but then lost,may not continue <br /> to discuss items on the agenda,and may not vote,except to adjourn. <br /> Section 2.11 Adjournment <br /> Any meeting of the Committee, whether or not a quorum is present, may be adjourned to <br /> another time and place by a vote of a majority of the members presen� Notice of the time and <br /> place of the adjourned meeting shall be given to members and posted no less than 24 hours <br /> prior to the tune the adjourned meeting. <br />
