He <br />asked that Council Member Hartnett respond to the appropriation of $20 million to the <br />developer of the Retail /Cinema and preventing the State and the Governor from <br />taking money from the City. He also asked if there are budget funds for affordable <br />housing for seniors and working residents. <br />Alan Bygdnes stated that under the City's webpage, there is now available the <br />"Associated Agenda Packet" that allows the user to get information on specific <br />Council agenda items. He suggested that a brief explanation of how to access the <br />City website might be included in the water bills. <br />Ray Fowler, speaking as President of the Redwood City Police Officers Association, <br />read a statement from the Police Officers Association and Police Sergeants <br />Association in support of the officers and sergeants named as involved parties <br />surrounding the death of Ricky Escobedo. (Letter on file with City Clerk and part of <br />the record.) <br />7. CONSENT CALENDAR — <br />Items on the Consent Calendar are considered to be routine by the City Council and <br />will be enacted by one motion and one vote. There is no separate discussion of these <br />items unless a Council Member or Citizen so requests, in which event the item is <br />removed from the Consent Calendar and considered in its normal sequence on the <br />agenda. <br />M/S Ruskin /Howard to waive reading of the Consent Calendar except the ordinances <br />by title adopt the resolutions and the ordinances, and approve other items. Item 7.2.6. <br />was removed for separate consideration. The motion passed by a unanimous roll call <br />vote <br />7.1 Section — Motions <br />A. Motion to approve and authorize execution of an agreement with Harris & <br />Associates for providing professional construction management services for the <br />Ralston Avenue /Marine Parkway Interchange Improvement Project, in an amount <br />not to exceed $1,500,000, of which Phase 1, Pre - Construction Services, in an <br />amount not to exceed $57,775, is to proceed now.
