He was
joined by Sam Mistrano from the Southern California
Association of Non -Profit Housing ( SCANPH), who
discussed California's tax credit program.
The workshop closed with a presentation by three
Los Angeles County cities (Pasadena, Santa Monica,
Montebello) who had recently been nominated by
SCANPH for non -profit housing project of the year.
The broad attendance was seen a testament to
the interest on the part of many cities in Prop. 46, and
their desire to access funds that will help in their
housing efforts.
The League's San Diego Division reports that
they are working with non -profit housing advocates
and other community partners on a similar Prop 46
workshop, scheduled for early April.
SAVE THE DATE!
LEGISLATIVE ACTION DAYS
MAY 14 &15 AT THE SHERATON
GRAND HOTEL, SACRAMENTO
Contact the League regional representa-
tive for your League division for more informa-
tion and to schedule an appointment with your
legislator.
