Prepare a photomontage <br />of architectural forms, details, elements, and colors from the Historic Courthouse Building <br />and other immediately visible surroundings of the Courthouse Square that may serve as <br />important architectural references, form sources, and contexts for design of the Square and <br />features to be included within the design. <br />G. Prepare large- format base maps <br />1. Project base sheet setup and design; prepare standard project sheets at 36" x 48" format for <br />workshop use <br />2. Full block site (aerial photo base) w /surrounding streets and blocks @ 20 scale <br />3. South half block: Courthouse Square site plan at Broadway @ 1/8" scale <br />4. Longitudinal and lateral Courthouse Square sections (2 sections) <br />H. Project Management - This task provides an allowance for project management tasks such as <br />project documentation, invoicing, and record keeping corresponding to tasks to be performed in <br />Task I. <br />TASK II. CONCEPTUAL DESIGN <br />A. Prepare Site Analysis Diagrams <br />Shadow study diagrams: prepare diagrams that show shadows of buildings in order to <br />inform the location and layout of activity and seating areas on the site relative to sun and <br />shade. Diagrams will demonstrate where sunny and shady areas will be at various times of <br />day and times of year. <br />a. Historic Courthouse building and surrounding existing buildings — this version <br />will analyze the anticipated shadow pattern of the Historic Courthouse building <br />and its surroundings after both annex structures are removed, and with the existing <br />buildings on the surrounding blocks. <br />b. Historic Courthouse building and surrounding (future) buildings — this version will <br />further anticipate a worst -case maximum height build -out of surrounding vacant <br />parcels or sites that could redevelop and resulting shadows. <br />General Site Analysis: Prepare a diagram of the site that analyzes important views to and <br />from the site, existing and anticipated pedestrian movement and access, important <br />
