Community Meeting #2 - Initial Design Concept Alternatives — Review previous workshop ideas <br />and input and present "broad -brush" design concept alternatives for Courthouse Square developed in <br />response. Discuss opportunities and constraints afforded by each option. In facilitated discussion, <br />elicit workshop discussion and comment on alternatives. Distribute `post -it" sticker kits and invite <br />participants to place comments on graphic exhibits to provide a visual indication of collective <br />preferences. Discuss results and steps for next workshop. <br />1. Coordinate workshop logistics with City Staff <br />2. Prepare presentation and workshop materials <br />3. Set up /deliver presentation, facilitate workshop, travel <br />4. Record comments; photograph record; send copy to City <br />I. Prepare recommended design concept — Based on Community Meeting #2, Special Group Session <br />#2 and City Staff input, prepare a recommended design concept (mostly likely one synthesized <br />concept, though up to two are possible). Refine the plan and section drawings, and prepare a three - <br />dimensional "bird's -eye" perspective sketch to assist visualization of the recommended concept. <br />Prepare a diagram illustrating how the recommended concept functions for special events, such as <br />those that involve a performance. Develop alternatives for a primary special feature (such as a <br />fountain, gazebo, etc.). Prepare alternative packages of representative manufactured furnishings that <br />along with the special feature help to establish the stylistic direction of the recommended concept. <br />1.
