ANNUAL ACTION PLAN <br />FY 2003/2004 <br />FUNDING RECOMMENDATIONS BY PRIORITY <br />04 � <br />PRIORITY # 1: Promote affordable housing for all populations by increasing the number <br />of affordable, accessible, decent safe and sanitary, and ownership units <br />for low and moderate income households <br />$129,500 CDBG General Administration <br />City of Redwood City- These funds will be used for staff wages and overhead costs to administer <br />federal grants. <br />$46,287 HOME Administration <br />City of Redwood City - Staff costs related to administering HOME funded activities. <br />$35,296 CDBG Casa de Redwood Air Conditioning Replacement <br />Casa de Redwood, 1280 Veterans Blvd, Redwood City. These funds will be used to replace <br />swamp coolers in a senior housing facility prior to summer. <br />$69,431 HOME HOME CHDO Setaside <br />These funds are reserved for use by a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO). <br />_ $50,000 CDBG Home Improvement Program Support <br />City of Redwood City — Program support costs specifically related to administering the Home <br />Improvement Loan Program and loan collection portfolio's for a citywide program. <br />$50,000 CDBG Hope House 1 Fire Safety Project <br />Service League of San Mateo County, 3789 Hoover Street, Redwood City. These funds will be <br />used to install fire safety and second exit to a residential drug treatment facility. This program <br />operates on a citywide basis. <br />$20,000 CDBG Hope House 3 Fire Safety Project <br />Service League of San Mateo County, 3789 Hoover Street, Redwood City. These funds will be <br />used to make fire safety and access to a residential drug treatment facility. This program operates <br />on a citywide basis. <br />$30,000 CDBG Housing Accessibility Modification Program <br />Center for the Independence of the Disabled, 875 O'Neill Avenue, Belmont. These funds will be <br />used to provide citywide accessibility improvements to residences occupied by homeowners and <br />renters who are physically challenged, are elderly and fragile, or are non - elderly but have <br />disabilities. <br />$200,155 HOME Landbanking <br />These funds will be allocated for acquisition of a site for affordable housing. <br />$173,247 CDBG Landbanking <br />These funds will be used for housing activity or economic development activities. <br />2 <br />
