The pwpose of these borings and <br />groundwater testing is to detennine if the proposed improvements encroach upon the old landfill <br />site and if there is a likelihood of encountering contaminated groundwater that will have to be <br />disposed of by the contractor in conjunction with the wick drains to be placed with the <br />embankment construction. Groundwater sampling/testing to be in conformance with County <br />Health Department requirements. A work plan will be developed and submitted with the permit <br />application to the County Health Department. <br /> <br />13. Prepare Storm Water Data Report <br /> <br />A Storm Water Data Report (SDR) will be prepared in accordance with Caltrans new Storm <br />Water Quality Handbook (SWQH) dated September 2002. Included will be the completion of <br />Checklists SW-l, SW-2, DPP-l, and T-l included in Appendix E of the SWQH. <br /> <br />14. Prepare Alternative Analvsis Studv <br /> <br />During the draft Project Study Report phase, Caltrans requested that the City look all viable <br />engineering alternatives prior to submitting the draft PSR. An Alternative Analysis Study had to <br />be prepared and submitted to Caltrans for review and approval.
