Co- I C -2 <br />AMENDMENT NO. 1 <br />TO AGREEMENT FOR FINANCIAL, INFORMATION <br />AND COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY SERVICES <br />This Amendment No. 1 is entered into and effective as of the day of <br />2003, amending the agreement dated June 19, 2002 (the <br />"Agreement") by and between South Bayside System Authority ( "Authority "), a public <br />entity duly organized and existing under the laws of the State of California, and the City <br />of Redwood City, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California <br />( "City') (collectively, the 'Parties "). <br />RECITALS <br />WHEREAS, the Agreement allows compensation at an hourly basis at the rate of <br />Ninety Dollars ($90) per hour for the first 220 hours of services furnished during an <br />Agreement year; and <br />WHEREAS, the Parties desire to increase the number of initial total hours from <br />two hundred twenty (220) to three hundred (300); and <br />WHEREAS, during the Agreement term it is sometimes necessary to make <br />adjustments to the hours or service levels that are more appropriately approved on <br />behalf of the City at an administrative level. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties agree as follows: <br />Paragraph 2(b) of the Agreement is amended in its entirety as follows: <br />"(b) Information Technology. Authority shall compensate City for the <br />information technology services described in Exhibit "A" furnished for the First <br />Term Year on an hourly basis at the rate of Ninety Dollars ($90) per hour (the "IT <br />Base Rate ") for the first 300 hours of services furnished during said Year, and at <br />the IT Base Rate plus an amount equal to eighteen percent (18 %) thereof for <br />each hour of services furnished in excess of 300 hours. Authority shall <br />compensate City for information technology services in the Second, Third, and, if <br />applicable, any successive Term Year, likewise on an hourly basis, at the IT Base <br />Rate plus an amount established by City but not more than the change in CPI as <br />described in Section 2(a) of this Agreement for the IT Base Rate, plus an amount <br />equal to eighteen percent (18 %) thereof for each hour of services provided in <br />excess of 300 hours in each respective Term Year." <br />F:Atty /Ag r /Amend S BSA 1 <br />051603 <br />
