• 186 Designated Disposal Site 187 "Designated Disposal Site" means the facility or facilities utilized for the landfill Disposal of Solid 188 Waste Collected under the terms of this Agreement. 189 Drop Box 190 "Drop Box" means an open -top Container with a typical capacity of twenty (20) to forty (40) 191 cubic yards that is serviced by a Drop Box or roll -off Collection vehicle. Drop boxes that contain 192 putrescible solid waste require a lid. 193 Effective Date 194 "Effective Date" means the date identified in Section 3.01. 195 Electronic Waste (or E- Scrap) 196 "Electronic Waste" or "E- Scrap" means "Covered Electronic Wastes" as defined in the Act 197 (Section 42463 of Public Resources Code) in addition to discarded electronic equipment such 198 as, but not limited to, television sets, computer monitors, central processing units (CPUs), laptop 199 computers, and peripherals (e.g., external computer hard drives, computer keyboards, 200 computer mice, and computer printers). E -Scrap does not include those items defined herein as 201 Targeted Recyclable Materials. 202 Environmental Laws 203 "Environmental Laws" means all federal and State statutes, County, and Agency ordinances 204 concerning public health, safety and the environment including, by way of example and not 205 limitation, the Act, the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability 206 Act of 1980, 42 USC §9601 et seq.; the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, 42 USC 207 §6902 et seq.; the Federal Clean Water Act, 33 USC §1251 et seq.; the Toxic Substances 208 Control Act, 15 USC §1601 et seq.; the Occupational Safety and Health Act, 29 USC §651 et 209 seq.; the California Hazardous Waste Control Act, California Health and Safety Code §25100 et 210 seq.; the California Toxic Substances Control Act, California Health and Safety Code §25300 et 211 seq.; the Porter - Cologne Water Quality Control Act, California Water Code §13000 et seq.; the 212 Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act, California Health and Safety Code §25249.5 et 213 seq.; as currently in force or as hereafter amended, and all rules and regulations promulgated 214 thereunder. 215 Event 216 "Event" includes but is not limited to "large events" as defined in the Act (Public Resources 217 Code Section 42648), any Event that serves an average of at least 2,000 attendees and 218 workers per day, and Agency- sponsored community events. A list of Events currently held in 219 the Agency is included as Attachment C. 220 Facility /Facilities 221 "Facility /Facilities" means any plant or site, owned or leased and maintained, operated or used 222 by Contractor for purposes of performing Contractor's obligations under this Agreement (e.g., 223 facilities for parking and maintaining vehicles, administration offices, and customer service 224 offices, etc.). As of the Effective Date, Contractor's Facility(ies) are Shoreway Recycling and 225 Disposal Center at 225 Shoreway Road, San Carlos, California.
