• • 528 Single- Stream Targeted Recyclable Materials 529 "Single- Stream Targeted Recyclable Materials" shall mean Targeted Recyclable Materials which 530 have been Commingled by the Generator and placed in a Container for the purposes of 531 Collection. 532 Solid Waste 533 "Solid Waste" means all putrescible and non - putrescible solid, semisolid, and liquid wastes, as 534 defined in California Public Resources Code Section 40191. For the purposes of this 535 Agreement, "Solid Waste" does not include abandoned vehicles and parts thereof, Hazardous 536 Waste or low -level radioactive waste, medical waste, Source Separated Targeted Recyclable 537 Materials, Source Separated Plant Materials, or Source Separated Organic Materials. 538 Source Separated 539 "Source Separated" means materials which otherwise would become Solid Waste, but have 540 been segregated by the Generator, such as Targeted Recyclable Materials or Organic 541 Materials, for the purpose of reuse, Recycling, or composting, to be Collected by Contractor or 542 others. 543 Special Handling Service 544 "Special Handling Service" means the provision of Collection service to a SFD in the rear or 545 side premises. Customers eligible for this service include only those that submit documentation 546 (e.g., a form signed by a doctor) of their inability to perform the generally applicable Curbside 547 Collection set -out requirements. 548 Specialty Recyclable or Reusable Material 549 "Specialty Recyclable or Reusable Material" means Recyclable Materials that are not Targeted 550 Recyclable Materials but that may be collected for purposes of Recycling by any Person 551 operating in accordance with the Agency Municipal Code. Such Specialty Recyclable or 552 Reusable Materials include, but are not limited to, scrap metal weighing more than ten (10) 553 pounds, Construction and Demolition Debris, pallets, plastic film, and reusable furniture. 554 Speed of Answer 555 "Speed of Answer" means the amount of time before a call is answered once that call is queued 556 upon completion of the introductory voicemail message(s) or Customer bypassing the 557 message(s). 558 State 559 "State" means the State of California. 560 Subcontractor 561 "Subcontractor" means a Person which has entered into a contract with the Contractor for the 562 performance of work that is necessary for the Contractor's fulfillment of its obligations under this 563 Agreement. 564 Targeted Recyclable Materials 565 "Targeted Recyclable Materials" means a subset of Recyclable Materials that includes: 566 newspaper (including inserts, coupons, and store advertisements); mixed paper (including office Franchise Agreement for Collection Services with Recology San Mateo County Attachment A City of Redwood City Definitions Page 15 of 17
