Agency <br /> 401 shall annually be allowed to increase the number of public litter receptacles <br /> 402 provided Collection service by an additional five percent (5 %) of the total <br /> 403 number of receptacles in service as of January 1 of each Rate Year at no <br /> 404 additional cost. The allocation of additional public litter receptacles placed in <br /> 405 service will accrue from year to year for the Term. <br /> 406 Contractor shall provide the Agency with the Collection services described above at the <br /> 407 service locations, service levels and frequencies identified in Attachment B. Contractor <br /> 408 shall provide and maintain Collection Containers for the Agency's use, with the <br /> 409 exception of public litter (or Solid Waste) and public Targeted Recyclable Materials <br /> 410 receptacles, which shall be provided and maintained by the Agency. Contractor shall <br /> 411 offer the type and size of Collection Containers that Contractor provides Commercial <br /> 412 Customers pursuant to Section 5.02.C. <br /> 413 Contractor may integrate Collection of Solid Waste, Targeted Recyclable Materials, and <br /> 414 Organic Materials from Agency Facilities with other Collection services in the Service <br /> 415 Area, provided that Contractor attributes estimated Tonnage Collected from Agency <br /> 416 Facilities separately from other Customers upon the Agency's request. <br /> 417 5.03 TARGETED RECYCLABLE MATERIALS COLLECTION <br /> 418 Contractor shall Collect Targeted Recyclable Materials from Customers that have <br /> 419 Source Separated the Targeted Recyclable Materials from Solid Waste and placed <br /> 420 these materials in the Customer's Recyclable Materials Collection Container for <br /> 421 Collection by Contractor. <br /> 422 In accordance with Section 15.12, the Agency may direct that Contractor modify its <br /> 423 scope of service to include Collection of additional types of Recyclable Materials beyond <br /> 424 those materials defined as Targeted Recyclable Materials in Attachment A. If the <br /> 425 Agency directs Collection of additional Recyclable Materials, such Recyclable Materials <br /> 426 shall thereafter be considered Targeted Recyclable Materials and Contractor shall not <br /> 427 receive additional Contractor's Compensation for Collection service if the Targeted <br /> 428 Recyclable Materials are placed by Generator in the Recyclable Materials Container <br /> 429 unless Contractor can demonstrate that Collection of the additional material(s) requires <br /> 430 modification to Collection routes to accommodate the additional volume of the <br /> 431 material(s). <br /> 432 A. Single - Family Dwellings. <br /> 433 1. General. Once per week, Contractor shall Collect Single- Stream Targeted <br /> 434 Recyclable Materials from SFD. Contractor shall provide each SFD Customer <br /> 435 with one (1) Cart for Single- Stream Targeted Recyclable Materials. Contractor <br /> 436 shall provide each Customer with a Cart specified in Attachment D, unless <br /> 437 Customer requests an alternative Cart specified in Attachment D. Customer <br /> 438 can rent or purchase additional Targeted Recyclable Materials Carts from <br /> 439 Contractor and Contractor shall be entitled to bill Customer as specified in <br /> 440 Attachment Q. Purchased Carts shall become the property of Customer. <br /> 441 Approximately one (1) month prior to distribution of SFD Targeted Recyclable <br /> 442 Materials Carts, Contractor shall mail a notice to each SFD Customer indicating <br /> 443 that the Customer will receive the default Targeted Recyclable Materials Cart <br /> Franchise Agreement for Collection Services with Recology San Mateo County <br /> City of Redwood City <br /> ATTY /AGR/2010.014 <br /> 040510 Page 14 of 115 <br />
