In such case, Contractor shall <br /> 449 Collect Carts from and return Carts to the alternative service location (such as <br /> 450 the side yard or backyard) specified by the Customer. <br /> 451 2. Used Motor Oil and Used Motor Oil Filters. Contractor shall Collect Used <br /> 452 Motor Oil and Used Motor Oil Filters placed at the Collection location by <br /> 453 Customer for Collection in Contractor - provided or Contractor - approved <br /> 454 Containers. Contractor shall not be required to Collect more than five (5) <br /> 455 gallons of Used Motor Oil per Customer per Collection. Contractor shall <br /> 456 provide up to five (5) one - gallon translucent plastic Used Oil jugs with screw - <br /> 457 on tops for Used Motor Oil Collection and up to five (5) six (6) mil plastic zip - <br /> 458 close type bags for Used Motor Oil Filter Collection to SFD Customers, upon <br /> 459 Customer's request, within five (5) Business Days of such request, at no <br /> 460 additional cost to Customer. Information in English and Spanish, regarding the <br /> 461 Used Motor Oil and Used Motor Oil Filter Collection program and instructions <br /> 462 for the use and set out of the these materials shall be provided with the Used <br /> 463 Motor Oil jugs and Used Motor Oil Filter bags. Diversion of Used Motor Oil <br /> 464 shall be calculated with a conversion factor of one (1) gallon of Used Motor Oil <br /> 465 equaling seven (7) pounds. <br /> 466 3. Household Batteries and Cell Phones. Contractor shall Collect from SFD <br /> 467 Premises Household Batteries and Cell Phones placed on top of the <br /> 468 Recyclable Materials Cart in Contractor - provided or Customer - provided clear <br /> 469 zip -close or tie -close plastic bags clearly marked "Used Batteries and Cell <br /> 470 Phones." Contractor shall empty the bag at the point of Collection and leave it <br /> 471 to be reused by the Customer by placing it inside the Cart handle. Customers <br /> 472 will be notified to place all Household Batteries in a clear zip -close plastic bag; <br /> 473 tape the contacts of button cell batteries; and wrap Cell Phones in paper (for <br /> 474 protection) prior to placing in the plastic bag. While Customers will be <br /> 475 encouraged to follow the participation parameters, Contractor shall be required <br /> 476 to Collect if Customers do not follow these instructions. <br /> 477 Contractor shall Collect Targeted Recyclable Materials from SFD on the same day <br /> 478 that Solid Waste Collection is provided. <br /> 479 B. Multi - Family Residential Premises <br /> 480 1. General. Multi- Family Dwelling Customers that subscribe to Solid Waste <br /> 481 Collection service shall be entitled to Single- Stream Targeted Recyclable <br /> 482 Materials Collection at no additional charge, and Contractor shall provide the <br /> 483 level of service required by Multi - Family Dwelling Customers requesting <br /> 484 Recyclable Materials Collection services. Contractor shall provide each Multi - <br /> 485 Family Dwelling Customer with Containers for Single- Stream Targeted <br /> 486 Recyclable Materials Collection. At a minimum, Contractor shall provide twenty <br /> 487 (20) gallons per week of Container capacity for Single- Stream Targeted <br /> 488 Recyclable Materials Collection for every Multi- Family Dwelling at the <br /> Franchise Agreement for Collection Services with Recology San Mateo County <br /> City of Redwood City <br /> ATTY /AGR/2010.014 <br /> 040510 Page 15 of 115 <br />
