• • <br /> 675 such case, Contractor shall provide one (1) or more Carts or Bins to such <br /> 676 Premises as requested by Agency. <br /> 677 d. Drop Boxes and Compactors. Contractor shall allow Agency Facilities to <br /> 678 use Drop Boxes or Compactors for the Collection of Targeted Recyclable <br /> 679 Materials. In such case, Contractor shall provide Agency with a choice of <br /> 680 Container capacities as specified in Section 8.05. Contractor shall offer <br /> 681 Agency the option to purchase or lease Compactors through Contractor or <br /> 682 an outside vendor. Regular maintenance of Compactors shall be provided <br /> 683 by Contractor (or outside vendor) as frequently as needed to keep the <br /> 684 Compactors in good working order and functioning at high compaction <br /> 685 levels. <br /> 686 3. Public Recycling Receptacles. Contractor shall Collect Recyclable Materials <br /> 687 from public Recycling receptacles located on streets and parking Tots, and from <br /> 688 public Recycling receptacles in parks that are accessible for Curbside <br /> 689 Collection. Contractor shall also Collect Recyclable Materials that are contained <br /> 690 in bags or boxes and placed adjacent to public Recycling receptacles. These <br /> 691 Collections will be made between one (1) and seven (7) Days per week, as <br /> 692 determined by Agency. Contractor is responsible for notifying Agency if a public <br /> 693 Recycling receptacle is inoperable within twenty -four (24) hours of observing or <br /> 694 being notified of the defect. A list of public Recycling receptacles is included in <br /> 695 Attachment B. <br /> 696 5.04 ORGANIC MATERIALS COLLECTION <br /> 697 A. Single- Family Dwelling. Contractor shall Collect Source Separated Organic <br /> 698 Materials from SFD once per week. Collection of Organic Materials, Targeted <br /> 699 Recyclable Materials, and Solid Waste from the SFD shall occur on the same Day <br /> 700 each week. Contractor shall provide each Customer with one (1) Cart to be used <br /> 701 for storage and Collection of Organic Materials. Customer can rent or purchase <br /> 702 additional Organic Materials Carts from Contractor and Contractor shall be entitled <br /> 703 to bill Customer as specified in Attachment Q. Purchased Carts shall become the <br /> 704 property of Customer. Customer will be provided the opportunity to subscribe to <br /> 705 service levels of additional Organics Materials Carts and shall be billed in <br /> 706 accordance with Agency- approved rates for additional Organic Materials Carts <br /> 707 service. The Contractor shall provide each Customer a Cart as specified in <br /> 708 Attachment D, unless the Customer requests an alternative Cart size, in which <br /> 709 case, the Contractor shall provide an alternative Cart as specified in Attachment D. <br /> 710 Approximately one (1) month prior to distribution of SFD Organic Material Carts, <br /> 711 Contractor shall mail a notice to each SFD Customer indicating that the Customer <br /> 712 will receive the default Organic Materials Cart size specified in Attachment D, <br /> 713 unless the Customer responds to the notice (i.e., by mail, email, phone or website <br /> 714 form) and requests an alternate Cart size by selecting the preferred size. <br /> 715 h <br /> 5 shall Collect Carts Curbside unless the Occupant is provided Special <br /> 716 Handling or Backyard Collection Service. In such case, Contractor shall Collect <br /> 717 from and return the Carts to the alternative service location (such as the side yard <br /> 718 or backyard) specified by the Customer. <br /> 719 Contractor shall provide each SFD with a Kitchen Pail at the inception of Collection <br /> 720 services.
