SBWMA and Agency Responsibilities <br /> 1637 SBWMA shall take primary responsibility for implementation of the public education <br /> 1638 and outreach campaign that will be used to announce changes in collection <br /> 1639 services. SBWMA will fund the new services kick -off public education campaign. <br /> 1640 Development of the public education and promotion strategy and implementation <br /> 1641 schedule will be a collaborative process among Contractor, SBWMA, and Agency. <br /> 1642 The SBWMA and Agency's responsibilities with regard to public education and <br /> 1643 promotion activities shall include, but not be limited to, the following: <br /> 1644 1. Provision of public education to SFD, MFD, Commercial and Agency Facility <br /> 1645 Customers with a broad focus on waste prevention, reuse, and Recycling. <br /> 1646 2. Preparation and distribution of a quarterly newsletter for all SFD and MFD <br /> 1647 Occupants. <br /> 1648 3. Preparation and distribution of Multi - Family Dwelling toolkits for MFD complex <br /> 1649 Owners and managers. <br /> 1650 4. Purchase of desk -side and other interior Targeted Recyclable Materials and <br /> 1651 Organic Materials receptacles for Commercial Customers. <br /> 1652 5. Purchase of Recycling Tote -Bags for distribution to MFD complexes. <br /> 1653 6. Preparation and distribution of an electronic newsletter for the Commercial <br /> 1654 sector and MFD complex managers. <br /> 1655 7. Preparation and provision of outreach materials to schools. <br /> 1656 8. Development and maintenance of SBWMA website. <br /> 1657 9. Production of decals for Used Motor Oil jugs. <br /> 1658 10. Upon request from Agency, produce Household Battery and Cell Phone <br /> 1659 Recycling bags. <br /> 1660 E. Contractor Responsibilities <br /> 1661 Contractor will be required to provide the following services: <br /> 1662 1. Distribute public education and promotion materials during roll -out of the new <br /> 1663 Collection services program. This will entail distributing program literature and <br /> 1664 other promotional items with delivery of the Carts, Kitchen Pails and Bins to all <br /> 1665 Customers at inception of the new program. <br /> 1666 2. Actively collaborate with Agency and SBWMA on the public education strategy <br /> 1667 and development of materials to support roll -out of new Collection services. <br /> 1668 3. Distribute public education and promotion materials to new Customers during <br /> 1669 the Term. <br /> 1670 4.
