Contractor shall be capable of providing emergency services within <br /> 1984 twenty -four (24) hours of notification by the Agency or as soon thereafter as is <br /> 1985 reasonably practical in Tight of the circumstances. Emergency services which exceed <br /> 1986 the Contractor's obligations shall be compensated in accordance with Article 11. If <br /> 1987 Contractor cannot provide the requested emergency services, the Agency shall have the <br /> 1988 right to temporarily take possession of the Contractor's equipment for the purposes of <br /> 1989 providing emergency services in accordance with Article 12. <br /> 1990 7.09 MFD AND COMMERCIAL RECYCLING BLITZ <br /> 1991 Contractor has developed a comprehensive early roll -out recycling promotion plan <br /> 1992 (Recycling Blitz) that will target Multi- Family Dwelling and Commercial Customers over a <br /> 1993 six (6) month period prior to the start of Collection Services on January 1, 2011. <br /> 1994 Contractor shall offer to provide Single- Stream Targeted Materials Recycling Collection <br /> 1995 Service to Multi - Family Dwelling and Commercial Customers that are currently receiving <br /> 1996 limited or no recycling service. The promotional materials, messages and <br /> 1997 communications used by Contractor to support Recycling Blitz activities shall be <br /> 1998 developed collaboratively with the SBWMA and production of materials shall be paid for <br /> 1999 by Contractor at no additional cost to Agency or SBWMA. All promotional materials used <br /> 2000 by Contractor shall be authorized by the SBWMA. <br /> 2001 Contractor will form a Recycling Blitz team, utilizing resources from within the <br /> 2002 Norcal /Recology organization, such as managers, recycling coordinators and operational <br /> 2003 staff of other Norcal /Recology subsidiaries, who will be recruited in one (1) to two (2) <br /> 2004 week assignments, to assist in this promotion campaign. The focus of the Recycling Blitz <br /> 2005 program will be on Customers that are either not currently recycling, or have only limited <br /> 2006 service. The Recycling Blitz team will work with Customers to expand Collection of <br /> 2007 Targeted Recyclable Materials and make recommendations for reduced Solid Waste <br /> 2008 Container sizes and /or frequency of Solid Waste Collection service. Contractor shall <br /> 2009 work collaboratively with the SBWMA and the Agency's Previous Contractor. <br /> 2010 Contractor projects that, as the result of undertaking this recycling promotion program, it <br /> 2011 will increase the volume of Targeted Recyclable Materials collected in the SBWMA <br /> 2012 Service Area by 9,800 annual tons starting January 1, 2011. <br /> 2013 All Recycling tons Collected through the Recycling Blitz will be delivered by Contractor to <br /> 2014 the SRDC or to an alternate Recycling processor approved by the SBWMA. All revenue <br /> 2015 received by Contractor from an alternate recycling processor for Targeted Recyclable <br /> 2016 Materials Collected during the Recycling Blitz will be remitted by Contractor to the <br /> 2017 SBWMA. Contractor shall provide SBWMA with monthly tonnage reports of materials <br /> 2018 Collected during the Recycling Blitz. <br /> 2019 7.10 CARBON FOOTPRINT MEASURING <br /> 2020 Contractor shall develop and submit to Agency and SBWMA an annual climate action <br /> 2021 report. Contractor shall annually file its emissions data with the California Climate Action <br /> 2022 Registry (CCAR). The annual climate action report shall be submitted with Contractor's <br /> 2023 annual report.
