Change in Collection Schedule. Contractor shall notify Agency a minimum of <br /> 2281 sixty (60) Business Days prior to a change in the Residential Collection schedule <br /> 2282 and shall request approval of Contractor's notice to Residential Customers thirty <br /> 2283 (30) Business Days prior to a change in Service Day, unless this requirement is <br /> 2284 waived in writing by Agency. Contractor shall notify Owners and Occupants of <br /> 2285 Residential Premises not later than ten (10) Business Days prior to any change in <br /> 2286 Residential Collection operations which results in a change in the day on which <br /> 2287 Solid Waste, Targeted Recyclable Materials, and Organic Materials Collection <br /> 2288 occurs. Contractor shall not permit any Customer to go more than five (5) Business <br /> 2289 Days without service in connection with a Collection schedule change. <br /> 2290 8.03 UNLOADING MATERIALS AT THE DESIGNATED TRANSFER AND PROCESSING <br /> 2291 FACILITY <br /> 2292 Contractor shall be required to unload at the Designated Transfer and Processing <br /> 2293 Facility all materials from its Collection vehicles by its own personnel. Contractor <br /> 2294 shall be required to ensure that unloaded materials are properly placed in the <br /> 2295 designated areas and containers as directed by Operator and SBWMA. For <br /> 2296 example, Contractor shall be required to deposit at the Designated Transfer and <br /> 2297 Processing Facility Batteries and Cell Phones, Used Motor Oil and Used Motor Oil <br /> 2298 Filters in the containers provided by Operator and designated for storage of these <br /> 2299 materials. Contractor shall cooperate with Operator to ensure its Collection vehicles <br /> 2300 unload Solid Waste, Targeted Recyclable Materials, Organic Materials and all other <br /> 2301 Discarded Materials Collected by Contractor in the locations designated by <br /> 2302 Operator and SBWMA. <br /> 2303 8.04 VEHICLES <br /> 2304 A. General. Contractor shall provide a fleet of Collection vehicles sufficient in number <br /> 2305 and capacity to efficiently perform the work required by the Agreement in strict <br /> 2306 accordance with its terms. Contractor shall have available sufficient back -up <br /> 2307 vehicles for each type of Collection vehicle used (e.g., side loader, front loader, and <br /> 2308 roll -off vehicles) to respond to mechanical breakdowns, Complaints, and <br /> 2309 emergencies. Contractor shall maintain a spare ratio of ten percent (10 %) for all <br /> 2310 Collection vehicles used in the SBWMA Service Area. As of the Commencement <br /> 2311 Date, all Residential and Commercial Collection vehicles shall be new; and other <br /> 2312 vehicles such as roll -off trucks, support vehicles, and spare vehicles may be new or <br /> 2313 used. At no time during the Term shall any vehicle used to perform the services <br /> 2314 required under this Agreement exceed ten (10) years of age from the first date the <br /> 2315 vehicle was registered. Contractor shall provide Collection vehicles in accordance <br /> 2316 with the specifications contained in Attachment P. Collection vehicles whose <br /> 2317 acquisition cost is included in the calculation of Contractor's Compensation may be <br /> 2318 used only in the SBWMA Service Area. <br /> 2319 B. General Vehicle Specifications <br /> 2320 1.
