I <br /> 6.2C <br /> Page 3 <br /> ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPROVING ', <br /> AGREEMENT MEMORIALIZING SETTLEMENT WITH THE CITY AND ! <br /> COUNTY OF SAN FRANCISCO <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City (City) has purchased water from the City <br /> and County of San Francisco (San Francisco) for many years; and <br /> WHEREAS, in 1984, a"Settlement Agreement and Master Water Sales <br /> Contract" (Master Water Sales Contract) was entered into between the City and San <br /> Francisco; and <br /> WHEREAS, in 2009, a new "Water Supply Agreement Between the City and <br /> County of San Francisco and Wholesale Customers in Alameda County, San Mateo <br /> County, and Santa Clara County" (Water Supply Agreement) was entered into befinreen <br /> the City and San Francisco; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to each of the aforementioned agreements, the City of <br /> Redwood City is one of five "Suburban Representatives" that monitor certain aspects of <br /> contract compliance on behalf of the Suburban Purchasers of water; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Suburban Representatives have the right to annually examine <br /> and/or challenge San Francisco's calculation of the Suburban Revenue Requirement; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, once the Suburban Purchasers and SFPUC reach an agreement <br /> regarding the aforesaid calculation, they routinely enter into a"Settlement Agreement <br /> Concerning Changes to the Suburban Revenue RequiremenY' for each respective fiscal <br /> year, formalizing the final amount of the Suburban Revenue Requirement; and <br /> Alty/Reso/Reso.2088 <br /> 011811 1 <br />
