MONITORING VERIFICA710N IDENTIFIED IMPACT RELATED MITIGATION MEASURE Impiementation Monitoring and Timing Signature Date PetFo�mance Criteria Entit Verification Entit Re uirements recommendations of the qualified archaeologist, in coordination with the Ciry Planning, Housing, and Economic Development Department and in accordance with CEQA Guidelines section 15126.4 (b)(3)(C), which requires impiementation of a data recovery plan. The data recovery plan shall include provisions for adequately recovering all scientifically consequential information from and about any discovered archaeological materials and include recommendations for the treatment of these resources. In- place preservation of the archaeological resource is lhe preferred manner of mitigating potential impacts, as il maintains ihe relationship between the resource and the archaeological context. In-place preservation also reduces the polential for conflicis with ihe reliyious or cultural values of groups associated with the resource. Oltier mitigation options include, but are not limited to, the full or partial removal and curation of the resource. The City Planning, Housing, and Economic Development Department shali confirm that the projeci applicant(s) have retained a qualified archaeologist for ihe preparation and implementation of the data recovery plan, which shall be conducted prior to any additional earth-moving activities in the area of the resource.
