A data recovery <br /> plan shall not be required for <br /> resources that have been deemed by <br /> the NWIC as adequately recorded and <br /> recovered by studies already <br /> completed. <br /> (b) Prior to the issuance of grading <br /> permits within the DPP area, the City <br /> Planning, Housing, and Economic <br /> Development Department shall <br /> confirm that any development <br /> applicant has required all construction <br /> crews to undergo training for the <br /> identification of federal or state- <br /> eligible cultural resources, and that <br /> the construction crews are aware of <br /> the potential for previously <br /> undiscovered archaeological <br /> resources within the plan area, of the <br /> laws protecting these resources and <br /> associated penalties, and of the <br /> procedures to fnllow should they <br /> discover cultural resources during <br /> project-related work.
