The project was analyzed using a <br /> Supplemental EIR because it tiered off the City of San Jose Downtown <br /> Bachelor of Science — Strategy Plan EIR. The project consisted of demolition of the historic <br /> Environmental Studies, Palomar Ballroom and construction of a 22 -story condominium tower <br /> California State University, San with 350 units directly adjacent to the De Anza Hotel, a National <br /> Jose, 1996 Register building. Significant issues discussed in this EIR include <br /> historic and cultural resources, transportation, and noise. <br /> PROFESSIONAL Marina Playa Residential Project EIR — Ms. George prepared the <br /> ORGANIZATIONS Focused EIR for the Marina Playa Residential Project, located on a 7.3- <br /> acre site in the City of Santa Clara. The project consisted of demolition <br /> Association of Environmental of an existing medical buildings and construction of 277 apartment units, <br /> Professionals 57 detached single - family houses, and six attached townhouses for a <br /> combined total of 340 dwelling units. Significant issues discussed in this <br /> California Preservation EIR include air quality, housing, land use, noise, and transportation. <br /> Foundation <br /> Murphy Ranch Residential Project EIR — Ms. George prepared the EIR <br /> for the Murphy Ranch Residential Project located in Milpitas. The <br /> project consisted of 285 single- family attached dwelling units and 374 <br /> apartments on approximately 22 -acres of vacant property surrounded by <br /> industrial development. Significant issues discussed in this EIR include <br /> hydrology, transportation, hazardous materials, and air quality. <br />
