as provided for in the Rates, Rules, and Regulations of <br /> the Water Department of the City of Redwood City for water <br /> service charges. <br /> The abovementioned schedule of charges for sanitary <br /> inspections and refuse collection shall be based upon the <br /> size of the container in which said refuse is deposited and <br /> is hereby established on a monthly basis, effective July 1, <br /> 1957, as follows: <br /> Capacity of Containers Monthly Rate for Each Container <br /> Number of Gallons Once per Week Service <br /> 1 to 20 $1.15 <br /> 21 to 40 1.47 <br /> 41 to 60 1.79 <br /> Service for each container over sixty (60) gallons shall be <br /> charged for at the rate of three and one-half cents (32I) <br /> per gallon. <br /> The aforesaid rates shall apply for weekly service. <br /> In the event that two collections per week are made, the <br /> rate shall be double that for weekly collections. In the <br /> event that more than two (2) collections per week are made, <br /> the rate shall be three and one-half cents (32si) per gallon. <br /> All rates herein charged are for collections at the <br /> ground level in rear of all premises. <br /> The rates herein established are subject to change, <br /> in accordance with the provisions of any contract entered <br /> into by the City of Redwood City with any person, firm, or <br /> corporation, for the collection and disposal of garbage, <br /> rubbish, waste matter and refuse." <br /> - 6 <br />
