The City Council's original intent <br />was to establish a Non - discretionary Permit Process; however, the wording in the <br />current Ordinance reflects a Use Permit Process, meaning it requires notification and a <br />Public Hearing. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Mr. Passanisi informed the Commission that before this Public Hearing could open on <br />the Amendments, they would have to: <br />Adopt the attached Resolution of Intention. <br />2. Open the Public Hearing. <br />3. She said following the presentation she will open the Public Hearing, and <br />asked for any other speaker cards to be brought to her. After the Public Hearing is <br />closed, the Commissioners will be allowed to have discussion, and work through the five <br />different resolutions. <br />She advised the speakers that once the Public Hearing is closed, there will be no more <br />public input. <br />Mr. Williams provided the Commission with a Draft Amendment and a summary outline <br />of problem /purpose statement; some review of what other cities have done in these <br />Page 2 of 26 <br />
