This subtask will address Item #46 of the UWMP Guidelines Checklist and <br /> Recommended UWMP Data Table 22 as described below. [All tables are provided as an <br /> attachment to this Scope of Services] <br /> #46 Describe the quantity of treated wastewater that meets recycled water standards, is being <br /> discharged, and is otherwise available for use in a recycled water project (10633(b)). <br /> a) Identify the quantities of wastewater currently being treated to recycled water standards <br /> within the urban water user's service area (Table 22). <br /> b) Quantify the amount of recycled water that is currently being discharged and is available <br /> for use. <br /> c) If there are limitations on the use of available recycled water, it may be helpful to provide <br /> information regarding the limitations and what could be done to address those limitations. <br /> Task 3: UWMP - Recycled Water System Information <br /> Subtask 3.1: Description of Recycled Water System and Current Uses <br /> This subtask will utilize information provided by City staff, SFPUC, BAWSCA & other <br /> consultants regarding use of recycled water in 2010 and potential future uses. <br /> Coordination with SBSA may be necessary as part of this task. Work under this subtask <br /> will produce a basic overview of known /discussed reuse opportunities within the City, <br /> and will not evaluate new customers or opportunities outside the City. <br /> This subtask will address Items #44 & #47 of the UWMP Guidelines Checklist and <br /> portions of Tables 23 and 24 as described below. <br /> #44 Provide, to the extent available, information on recycled water and its potential or use as a water <br /> source in the service area of the urban water supplier. The preparation of the plan shall be <br /> coordinated with local water, wastewater, groundwater, and planning agencies that operate within <br /> the supplier's service area (10633). <br /> a) Coordinate with any facility or agency within the urban water supplier's service area <br /> regarding the existing and potential availability and uses of recycled water. <br /> b) Each of the types of organizations identified in the urban water management planning act <br /> (10633) will be considered. <br /> c) The discussion of recycled water opportunities is to include description of existing recycled <br /> water applications within the service area and potential opportunities. <br /> d) Other potential sources of recycled water include facilities that may treat and discharge <br /> contaminated water. <br /> #47 Describe the recycled water currently being used in the supplier's service area, including, but not <br /> limited to, the type, place, and quantity of use (10633(c)). <br /> a) Quantify the amount of recycled water that is currently being used within the urban water <br /> supplier's service area. Provide information regarding the amount and use of the recycled <br /> water (Table 23). <br /> b) For "other uses, " provide the type of use, for example, fire hydrant flushing or dust control. <br /> Subtask 3.2 — Potential Uses & Economic Feasibility; Projected Use <br /> This subtask will include updating the recycled water market assessment tables and GIS <br /> maps originally developed as part of the City's 2002 Water Recycling Feasibility Study <br /> 11 of 15 3/22/2011 <br />
