4 4 <br /> (s) Significant Effect on the Environment. The phrase <br /> " significant effect on the environment" means a <br /> substantial adverse impact on the environment. <br /> (t) Subdivision Regulations. The phrase " subdivision <br /> regulations" means the provisions of Chapter 30 <br /> ("Subdivisions" ) of the Code of the City of Redwood <br /> City, as the same now exists or may from time to time <br /> be amended. <br /> (u) Zoning Ordinance. The phrase "zoning ordinance" means <br /> the provisions of Ordinance No. 1130, the Redwood City <br /> Zoning Ordinance, as the same now exists or may from <br /> time to time be amended. <br /> li <br /> 3. GENERAL. (a) Scope. Except as otherwise herein <br /> provided, the provisions of this resolution shall apply to dis- <br /> cretionary projects proposed to be carried out or approved by <br /> the City. In connection with those projects defined in paragraph <br /> 2 (r) (1) (3) , above, the provisions hereof shall apply, but shall <br /> not necessarily be limited, to the issuance, granting, enactment, <br /> or approval of the following: <br /> (1) Use permits . <br /> (2) Use permits for excavations. <br /> (3) Planned development permits. <br /> (4) Architectural permits. <br /> (5) Amendments to the Zoning Ordinance. <br /> (6) Variances to provisions of the Zoning Ordinance. <br /> (7) Prezoning of areas prior to annexation by the City. <br /> (8) Tentative subdivision maps . <br /> (9) Exceptions to provisions of the subdivision regulations. <br /> (10) Franchises. <br /> (11) Revocable permits. <br /> (12) Leases. <br /> (13) Permits for the wrecking or salvaging of automobiles . <br /> (14) Other governmental entitlements relating to or connected <br /> with that category of discretionary projects defined <br /> in paragraph 2 (r) (i) (3) hereof . <br /> -5- <br />
