the provisions of this paragraph 12. Any person aggrieved by a <br />determination, decision, recommendation, or action of the Planning <br />Commission (including a determination, decision, or action relating <br />to an appeal), in the administration of the provisions of this <br />resolution may appeal such determination, decision, or action to <br />the City Council in accordance with the provisions of this paragraph 12. <br />(b) Request for Appeal. Every request for appeal hereunder <br />sha11 be in writing and filed with the City Clerk within seven days <br />of the final determination, decision, or action being appealed. <br />Such request for appeal shall state the grounds upon which the <br />appeal is made and shall be accompanied by any supporting informa- <br />tion the appellant desires to be considered in connection with <br />the appeal. <br />(c) Fees The written request for appeal shall be accom- <br />panied by a fee according to the following schedule: <br />(1) A nonrefundable fee of $10 if the appeal is to the <br />Planning Commission. <br />(2) A nonrefundable fee of $50 if the appeal is to the City <br />Council. <br />(d) Notice of Appeal. Upon filing a request for an appeal, <br />the City Clerk shall give written notice of such appeal to the <br />officer of the city, or the Planning Commission, as the case may <br />be, whose determination, decision, or action is being appealed, <br />and shall notify such officer or Commission of the time and place <br />of the hearing thereon. The City Clerk shall, in every case, <br />notify the Planning Department of such appeal upon receipt of a <br />request therefor. <br />(e) Public Hearing.. A public hearing shall be held upon <br />the appeal. Notice of such public hearing shall be given, to the <br />extent not inconsistent herewith, in accordance with the provisions <br />of Article 49 of the Zoning Ordinance. <br />-14- <br />
