I <br />CHAPTER 5 <br />Sections <br />CHAPTER 5 <br />POWERS <br />501 <br />General. <br />A district may acquire, construct, improve, <br />maintain and operate any public improvement, work or public <br />utility which the city is authorized by law to acquire or <br />construct. <br />502 Acquisitions. A district may make any acquisition neces- <br />sary or appropriate in connection with any project authorized <br />under this ordinance, including land, rights of way or easements, <br />water rights or rights to water, and sewage or drainage disposal <br />facilities or capacity in-or right to use sewage or drainage <br />disposal facilities or a right of disposal therein, or material <br />or any contract right relating thereto. <br />503 . Title. Title to all property acquired shall be in the <br />city, subject to the provisions hereof. <br />504 District Debt. A district may incur a district indebted- <br />ness by the issuance of general obligation bonds or revenue <br />bonds in the manner herein provided. <br />505 Ey- Products. A district may sell or otherwise dispose of <br />any property or material acquired in the construction or opera- <br />tion of any project as a by- product or otherwise, and acquire <br />rights of way for such disposal by condemnation or otherwise. <br />506 Charges. A district may establish, revise and collect <br />charges. It may order that they be billed upon the same bill <br />and collected together with and not seplirately from other city <br />or district charges. It may order that a charge or delin- <br />quent charge be collected on the assessment roll upon notice <br />and hearing as provided in Division 5, Part 3, Chapter 6 0 Article 4 <br />11 <br />
