CHAPTER 6 <br />Sections <br />bOb (d) State a time and place for hearing of objections <br />(Contd.) <br />by persons interested in the formation of the district, in <br />the inclusion of any land within the proposed boundaries or <br />in the project or projects. <br />607 Notice. The resolution shall be published, posted and <br />mailed. <br />608 Hearin &. On the day fixed for the hearing or any day <br />to which the hearing is adjourned the council shall hear and <br />consider all written and oral objections presented to the <br />formation of the district, the inclusion of any lands in the <br />district or the projector pro jects, . <br />609 C�hanB Jn FkWect . At the hearing, the council may make <br />changes in any project, or in the estimated costs and expenses <br />thereof, provided, however, that if the estimated costs are <br />increased by more than 5 %, the council shall give notice of <br />such change as provided in the first instance prior to the <br />conclusion of the hearing. <br />610 Excluding Territory. At the hearing, the council shall <br />exclude from the district any territory that in its opinion <br />would not be benefited by the project or projects as finally <br />determined. The council shall not, however, modify the <br />boundaries of the proposed district so as to exclude from it <br />any land which would in its judgment be benefited by the project <br />or projects as finally determined, nor shall it include in the <br />proposed district any lands which will not in its judgment be so <br />benefited. The provisions of this section are subject to the <br />limitations of section 612. <br />15 <br />
