38O <br /> ALLOW RESUBDIVISION PORTION OF LOT 14, VALOTA PARK SUBJECT TO DEED 5' FOR WIDENING. <br /> (R. Namba and Hi Inouye). Planning Commission recommended approval subject to the <br /> deed of 5' for widening Valota Road and the owner paying for sewer laterals. City <br /> Engineer Jain suggested a further condition of an additional 10' set back to in- <br /> sure the houses be set far enough back in case Valota Road should ever be widened <br /> beyond the present intended 60 feet. Councilman Royer noted that the sketch <br /> attached to the communication indicates that this condition was being complied with. <br /> Councilman Royer then moved approval, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. <br /> AUTHORIZE CITY CLERK ACCEPT DEED AS ABOVE. Councilman Jones moved authorization to <br /> accept deed to a 5' strip paralleling Valota Road as mentioned above, seconded by <br /> Councilman Stout and carried. <br /> APPROVAL DOROTHY NELSON APPLICATION TO.RESUBDIVIDE PORTION OF LOT 6, BLOCK 5, FRIENDLY <br /> ACRES INTO 2 LOTS, 50' x 14O'' and 50' x 170' SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS. The Planning <br /> Commission recommended approval to the recent subdivision into 2 lots, one 50' x <br /> 140' on Tenth Avenue and add 100' x 150' to the applicants' 50' x 170' lot facing <br /> Page Street and making it a single building site. Councilman Spiller so moved, <br /> seconded by Councilman Jones and carried. Councilman Granger was assured that the <br /> Building Department recorded conditions as mentioned above on their map and issued <br /> building permits in accordance thereto. <br /> APPROVAL E. H. JUDD APPLICATION TO RESUB LOT 8, BLOCK 6, LENOLT (D STREET REARING ON <br /> INDUSTIRAL WAY) INTO 2 LOTS, EACH 47.175 r x 100' SUBJECT TO OWNER PAYING FOR SEWER <br /> LATERALS. Councilman Jones moved approval, subject to owner paying for sewer <br /> laterals, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. <br /> APPROVAL J. F. DINGMAN APPLICATION TO ALLOW CAR PORTS WITHIN 1" OF THE LOT LINE AT <br /> 905 ADAMS STREET, PUBLIC HEARING, NO PROTESTS. The Planning. Commission further estab- <br /> lished condition that there be no clothes lines on the roof of the car port. Council - <br /> man Spillers moved approval, seconded by Councilman Royer. <br /> Councilman Granger questioned whether the Fire Department had considered this re- <br /> quest and was advised that they were not familiar with the situation. Councilman <br /> Granger offered an amendment to the motion, referring the same to the Fire Depart- <br /> ment and the Building Department for their recommendation. Seconded by Councilman <br /> Stout, motion carried, Councilman Spillers voting "No ". <br /> APPROVAL SNIDER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY APPLICATION FOR VARIANCE TO ALLOW 12 FOOT REAR LOTS <br /> 1 & 2, BLOCK 2, VILLA TRACT (REDWOOD AND HUDSON). PUBLIC HEARING AND NO PROTESTS. <br /> Councilman Spillers offered_Resolution #1902 and moved adoption, seconded by Council- <br /> man Jones and carried on roll call, Councilman Britschgi noted absent. Councilman <br /> Granger was assured that no business building would be erected on this lot. <br /> APPROVAL D. W. ZAHN APPLICATION FOR VARIANCE TO ALLOW 6 FOOT FENCE ON STREET SIDE OF <br /> PROPERTY LINE AT 1596 MITCHELL WAY. PUBLIC HEARING, NO PROTESTS. Councilman <br /> Spillers offered RESOLUTION 1903 approving variance and moved approval, seconded by <br /> Councilman Jones and carried on roll call, Councilman Britschgi noted absent. <br /> APPROVAL OF A. ZAMBELLI APPLICATION FOR VARIANCE TO ALLOW 20' X 13? STORAGE SHED ADDITION <br /> TO NON - CONFORMING APARTMENT AT 131 FINGER AVENUE. PUBLIC HEARING, NO PROTESTS. <br /> Planning Commission placed additional conditions in the effect that addition would be <br /> limited to storage purposes only and that no plumbing or wiring would be installed. <br />
