Councilman Britschgi stated that a solution had been worked out and the only question left to be answered was the water situation. Councilman Spillers stated that the subdivider should be made to fill the requirements of the City Engineer so that the people in the area will not be subject to flood conditions. Motion carried, Councilman Britschgi voting "No ". Councilman Spillers moved approval of the City Engineer's recommendation that the City pay 3/4 of the cost of a 6 -inch water line, seconded by Councilman Britschgi. Council- man Britschgi stated that the drainage should be put in before installing the water line. Motion carried. COUNCILMAN GRANGER moved acceptance of recommendations of the City Manager in regard to Suggested Increase in Planning Commission Budget for 1955 -56, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried. She stated that the Club was going to make an appeal to the Planning Commission's decision. The City Clerk advised the Council that he had not received the appeal in the day's mail.
