Councilman Spillers moved introduction of ordinance which also included the fire zone No. 2 provision, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried. RESOLUTION 1825 TRANSFERRING $1,000.00 FROM ENGINEERS SUPPLIES AND SERVICES TO PAINT DEPARTMENT TO COVER INSTALLATION OF TRUCK ROUTE SIGNS. Councilman Stout offered resolution and moved adoption, seconded by Councilman Granger and carried on roll call, Councilmen Brit - schgi and Jones noted absent. . RESOLUTION 1826 TRANSFERRING $118.19 FROM UNBUDGETED RESERVE TO COVER COST OF BROADWAY SIDEWALK FRONTING CITY PROPERTY, ASSESSMENT 28 -A. Councilman Royer offered RESOLUTION and moved adoption, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried on roll call, Councilmen Britschgi and Jones noted absent. AUTHORIZING SIGNING OF AGREEMENT WITH MENLO HIGHWAY LIGHTING DISTRICT TO COVER HIGHWAY LIGHTING. City Engineer Jain advised that this agreement covers six lights on El Camino fronting County Area. The County has agreed to continue the present cost of the lights, the City to pay the increased cost after changing lampt to 10,000 lumens and installation of one additional light. Councilman Spillers moved Mayor Herkner be authorized to sign agreement, seconded by Councilman Granger and carried. A copy of the agreement will be mailed to the County Supervisors. COMMUNICATION RECEIVED FROM THE PLANNING COMMISSION REGARDING PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE boo TO ALLOW 61 FENCES ON CORNER LOTS. After discussion, Councilman Granger moved matter be transferred to the Traffic Fact Finding Committee for study and recommendation. After receipt of this recommendation matter will be referred back to the Planning Commission for their further recommendation. Motion seconded by Councilman Royer and carried.
