Councilman Spillers moved approval, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried. RECOMMENDATIONS AND SUGGESTIONS: COUNCIL AND DEPARTMENT HEADS. COUNCILMAN STOUT SUGGESTED THAT ANY MEMBER OF THE COUNCIL WHO FINDS IT POSSIBLE TO TOUR THE CIVIL DEFENSE FACILITIES AT HAMILTON FIELD which in his opinion will prove to be well worth the time and effort. THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDED APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF J. J. HERMAN TO RESUBDIVIDE A PORTION OF LOT 27 LEE TRACT (lor Nueva) into two lots subject to : 1. Owner paying for new sewer lateral. 2. Owner deeding seven feet along front for widening of Nueva. Deed to the seven feet was attached to the communication. Councilman Spillers moved appro- val of the recommendation, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried. Councilman Spillers moved that City Clerk Dodge be authorized to accept deed mentioned above. Motion seconded by Councilman Stout and carried. MAYOR HERKNER ANNOUNCED A STUDY MEETING IN THE CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE MONDAY, JANUARY 31st. Faulstich, and Lee Greenwold, representing the Planning Commission. COUNCILMAN SPILLERS MOVED THAT THE MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF JANUARY 17, 1955 and the ADJOURNED MEETING OF JANUARY 24, 1955 BE APPROVED AS MAILED.
