City Attorney Currie reported that petition was presented to owners there <br /> and Western Slope Lands have signed petition. Neither G. A. Davis or Ravetta who own pro- <br /> perty in the area between there and Redwood City have turned in petition. Western Slope <br /> Lands Corporation do not have sufficient assessed valuation to annex separately. City <br /> Attorney asked for a week to obtain legal opinion as to whether or not we can annex <br /> them separately. Councilman Britschgi moved that City Attorney Currie be given a week to <br /> investigate the matter, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1828. AUTHORIZE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE STANDARD OIL AGREEMENT, offered by <br /> Councilman Britschgi, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. - <br /> ORDINANCE ESTABLISH FIRE ZONE NO. 2, PORTION LOT 4, BLOCK 30, OAK KNOLL MANOR was offered for <br /> introduction by Councilman Royer, seconded by Councilman Britschgi and carried on roll call. <br /> BIDS OPENED on January 2 5, 1 955 for purchase of ONE -HALF TON FLAT BED TRUCK FOR THE FIRE <br /> DEPARTMENT. The following bids were received: <br /> TOWNE MOTOR COMPANY DAVIES AUTO COMPANY FERRIS MILES, INC. ARROW MOTOR CO. <br /> $ - $ $ $ <br /> Prices include trade -in, sales tax and all accessories. Acceptance of low bid of Towne <br /> Motors at $1,550.00 was recommended by Fire Chief Lodi, concurred in by City Manager Rob- <br /> son.
