APPOINTMENT OF MEMBER TO THE PERSONNEL BOARD, Councilman Britschgi recommended John V. Zuckerman, 94 Renato Court, personnel officer for Ampex Company. Mr, Zuckerman is 37 years old and a graduate of Stanford University. Councilman Royer seconded the motion which carried on roll call. LEAGUE DINNER METTING VILLA CHARTIER, NOVEMBER 17th. Councilman Spillers asked for a study meeting on Thursday in regard to the Police building and asked that it be•placed on the agenda. Councilman Granger mentioned again the crossing at Whipple and Jefferson. There seems to be some improvement on the Jefferson Avenue crossing in regard to.t he signals. Councilman ,Spillers was of the opinion that - a traffic study should be made in regard to the traffic. Mayor Herkner asked that this be put on the tickle.r..file:until -the first of the year when the Police Department will operating in full force. City Manager Ro.li.son stated that he has written.a.le.tter to the County.Manager and he is waiting for an answer.
