,262 <br /> Spillers moved that the City Clerk be authorized to accept the deed, seconded by Councilman <br /> Granger and carried. <br /> DENIAL APPLICATION OF OTTO TECHEN FOR VARIANCE TO ALLOW IN EXCESS OF 40% LOT COVERAGE AND A <br /> FIVE (5) FOOT REAR YARD ON PORTION OF LOT 10, BLOCK 7, WELLESLEY PARK, (303 Edgewood <br /> Road). After full discussion, Councilman Spillers offered RESOLUTION that application <br /> be granted, seconded by Councilman Britschgi and carried, Councilmen Granger and Stout <br /> and Mayor Herkner voting NO. City Attorney will prepare the Resolution. <br /> DENIAL MR. ROBERTSON APPLICATION TO INSTALL TRASH CANS WITH ADVERTISING. Letter from the <br /> Planning Commission read and ordered filed. Councilman Spillers moved that the recommen- <br /> dation of the Planning Commission be approved, seconded by Councilman Britschgi and <br /> carried. <br /> RECOMMEND THAT IF ROSE AVENUE IS EXTENDED IT NOT END IN CUL -DE -SAC. Decision based on Fire <br /> Chief report on difficulty of protecting long cul -de -sacs. Councilman Britschgi moved <br /> that this be turned over to the Real Estate Committee to see what can be worked out, to <br /> report back to the Council in two weeks, seconded by Councilman Stout and carried. <br /> COUNCILMAN BRITSCHGI MOVED ADJOURNMENT with the understanding that the regular meeting of <br /> February 21st be also adjourned to February 28th, this in order that the February 22nd <br /> Holiday might be taken advantage of. Currie, Administrative Assistant Orrin <br /> Wendling and City Auditor- Assessor J. J. Brophy. <br /> 1 <br /> THE MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING, FEBRUARY 7th, AND THE REGULAR ADJOURNED MEETING OF FEB- <br /> RUARY 14th, were approved as mailed on motion of Councilman Stout, seconded by Council - <br /> man Spillers and carried. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING - PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION TO DENY APPLICATION OF C. REID TO REZONE <br /> LOTS 10 AND 11, BLOCK F, BOYD AND KENT ADDITION, FROM R -4 to C- 1 -H -F. (46 Hemlock). Af- <br /> fidavit of publication and mailing of notice of public hearing was ordered filed by the <br /> Mayor. Mr. C. Reid, 46 Hemlock, appeared before the Council stating that he had appeared <br /> before the Planning Commission some time ago.
