Motion seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. PETITION FARM HILLS AREA. PROPOSED ANNEXATION. HIGHLANDS TERRITORY NO. 3 OR FARM HILLS, COUNCIL SELECT NAME. Letter from City Engineer read, containing petition for annexa- tion signed by more than 1/4 of the area, including Western Slope Land Corporation and N. Rovetta. Resolution has already been prepared by the City Attorney. If Mr. Davis files a written protest, the annexation cannot proceed. Mr. Fromm stated he was informed that Mr. Davis intends to sign the petition. City Attorney advised that less_than fifty percent of the assessed valuation of the area was represented in the petition at hand, and if protests were filed by Mr. Davis and Mr. Rossi, annexation proceedings would necessarily terminate.
