After further discussion as <br /> to present zoning, etc. original motion to close hearing carried unanimously. Councilman <br /> Royer stated that in his opinion the plan was satisfactory and had been passed by the Plan- <br /> ning Commission as the better plan, however, he would like to see the area zoned to fur- <br /> ther guarantee the parking areas remain as shown on the map. Planning Commission sug- <br /> gests placing the divider strip in the center of Roosevelt Avenue, in the wide section to <br /> prevent traffic from crossing from one area to another. City Attorney advised that no <br /> time limit condition could be attached to zoning, however, such a condition could be plac- <br /> ed on variances. Councilman Britschgi moved that the City Attorney prepare the necessary <br /> ordinance and resolution, the one year time limit to be a condition of the variances re- <br /> quested.
