LISLE WINTER INTRODUCED THE NEW ASSISTANT WATER SUPERINTENDENT WARREN MITCHELL who was <br /> welcomed into the City Family by Mayor Herkner. <br /> COUNCILMAN JONES REMINDED THE COUNCIL THAT THE PROPOSED SALES TAX LAWS WILL BE COMING UP FOR <br /> COMMITTEE HEARINGS IN JiE STATE LEGISLATURE ON THE 14th and 15th of APRIL. Council <br /> agreed that the Peninsula League of California Cities are represented in Sacramento, and <br /> will look after the interests of our city. Councilman Jones moved that the League be <br /> informed of the Council's desires regarding this matter. Motion lost for lack of a <br /> second.
