Granger, Paul Jones, William H. Royer, Robert V. Spillers, Hiram S. Stout and Mayor Sidney D. Herkner. Also present were City Manager E. A. Rolison, City Clerk R. S. Dodge, City Attorney C. B. Currie, City Engineer Glenn M. Jain, Fire Chief J. L. Lodi, Police Chief Stanley Wood, Police Captain William Faulstich, Building Inspector S. H. Kreiss and Administrative As- sistant Orrin Wendling. PUBLIC HEARING, ADOPT ORDINANCE #784 CALLING PORT BOND ELECTION. Election will be held on Feb- ruary 8, 1955. City Attorney Currie explained that ordinance will be published after ad- option. There were no protests and Councilman Spillers moved close of hearing, seconded by Councilman Stout and carried. Councilman Granger noted the fact that there were no protests indicated that the people felt the issue should be submitted to vote. Mayor Herkner stated that the Council was very pleased to note that there were no objections to the passage of the ordinance calling the election which argued well for the success of the election. Councilman Royer moved adoption of the ordinance, seconded by Councilman Stout and carried on roll call. C ITY MANAGER REPORT REGARDING PAUL ADAMSON REPORT. City Manager submitted a resume indicating the highlights of Mr. Adamson's report, copy of which had been furnished the Council.
