Councilman Stout <br /> suggested that the City Clerk follow through on these letters so that we may have de- <br /> finite answers and can begin on the project of making the benches. <br /> COUNCILMAN STOUT SUGGESTED THAT 'rn CITY MANAGER LOOK IN TO THE SITUATION OF THE RAILROAD <br /> CROSSINGS IN REDWOOD CITY and find out that the Southern Pacific plans are for put- <br /> ting the crossings in better condition. <br /> 1 <br /> COUNCILMAN GRANGER SUGGESTED THAT THE CITY ATTORNEY'S OFFICE MAKE A REPORT ON ACTIVITY <br /> WITH SOUTHERN PACIFIC ON THE PARKING LOT. This is the form of a motion, seconded <br /> by Councilman Stout and carried. <br /> COUNCILMAN MENTIONED THE TRAFFIC CONGESTION AT BROADWAY AND CALIFORNIA ON FRIDAY EVENINGS <br /> asking the Police Chief if a patrolman shoud be on duty. Chief Wood informed the Council <br /> that a patrolman is on duty at that corner from 5:45 to 6 :05 P. M. during the congestion <br /> period. • <br /> MRS. VERA ESKIN STATED THAT MRS. TEPFER WOULD LIKE TO SIT IN ON ONE OF THE MEETINGS OF THE <br /> COUNCIL PARK AND RECREATION COMMITTEE RE: THE RELEASE OF PORTION OF PARK FOR WIDOW'S, <br /> INC. <br /> COUNCILMAN BRITSCHGI MOVED THAT CLAIMS NO. 16375 TO NO. 16446 IN THE AMOUNT OF $44, <br /> BE PAID, seconded by Councilman Jones and carried. <br /> COUNCILMAN STOUT MOVED ADJOURNMENT AT 11 :50 P.
